Internationally Certified Water Purification

NSF is an international organisation which develops national standards on public health, environmental protection and safety. It approves product standards on water, food and consumer goods through benchmark tests and certifications. The NSF is recognised by the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) as the most influential and respected organisation in the world, and phrased by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) for its professionalism.

System CT1 tested and certified by NSF International against ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for the reduction of: Chlorine (Class 1). Particulate (Class 1). Taste and Odor. Also tested and certified by NSF International against ANSI/NSF Standard 53 for the reduction of: • Cysts • Lead • Mercury • MTBE • Turbidity • 2,4-D. Including reduction of E.coli and Salmonella.

The Water Quality Association Reference Data

The Water Quality Association's GOLD SEAL represents the oldest independent third-party validation program in the water-treatment industry. WQA awards the GOLD SEAL only to those systems that have met or exceeded industry standards for performance, integrity and safety.

Tested by an independent and recognised laboratory for killing and eliminating 99.999% microorganisms including:

Viruses: MS2 Coliphage*, Coxsackie Virus, Norwalk Virus, Poliovirus
Bacteria: Bacillus subtilis spores***, E.coli 0157:H7, Salmonella typhimurium**, Bacillus cereus, Enterococcus faecalis, Listeria monocytogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Yersinia enterocolitica
Protozoa: Cryptosporidium, Cyclospora, Giardia

  Water Quality
  • Log reduction and elimination results shown are for water that has been fully processed throught ozone disinfection and filtration.
  • * MS2 Coliphage is a scientifically accepted surrogate for enteric viruses such as: Coxsackie Virus, Norwalk Virus and Poliovirus.
  • ** E.coli and Salmonella typhimurium are scientifically accepted surrogates for Bacillus cereus, Entercoccus faecalis, Listeria monocytogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphyiococcus aureus and Yersinia enterocolitica.
  • *** Bacillus subtilis spores are a scientifically accepted surrogate for Protozoa including Cryptosporidium, Cyclospora and Giardia.
  • The system is recommended for use with visually clear water (not colored, cloudy or turbid water). The system is not intended for the treatment of water which has an obvious contaminated source (such as raw sewage), nor is the system intend to convert wastewater into microbiologically safe water. The contaminants or other substances killed, removed or reduced by this water treatment system are not necessary in all user’s water.
